Kiwi CatTools v3.8 HotFix2 is Now Available

Kiwi CatTools v3.8 HotFix2:

This HotFix addresses the following issue related to the variations feature and the PaloAlto.Firewall device type:

• Variations added for PaloAlto.Firewall are not being applied.

If you are using CatTools 3.8.0 and you are not using variations for the PaloAlto.Firewall device type, you do not need to install this HotFix.

This fix provides a modified device script file (PaloAlto.Firewall.txt) which resolves the variations issue.

This fix requires SolarWinds CatTools version 3.8.0.

To install this HotFix:

1. Open the \Scripts folder within the CatTools install directory on the CatTools server.
2. Create a backup copy of the PaloAlto.Firewall.txt.
3. Extract the PaloAlto.Firewall.txt file from within the zip file included in the HotFix, to the \Scripts folder.

To uninstall this HotFix:

1. Restore your backed-up PaloAlto.Firewall.txt file to the \Scripts folder.
